About Us
Everest Boutique coffee is a sister company of “The Everest Coffee Group”. It was established in 1995 as one of the first coffee production companies in Nepal. We export high quality coffee to countries like Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Switzerland, Canada and the USA. We grow coffee together with bananas, mandarines, Avocados to make the soil better for facilitation of our coffee plants along with animal manure for natural fertilizer.
Apart from the farming process, we try to spread knowledge about coffee and its benefits among all. The entire value chain of our business is targeted towards making a better place for all involved in coffee business.
Royal Everest Coffee was the 1st coffee export company of Nepal that served both international and local markets. However with time and transition in our nation’s political scenario, which is from monarchy to “Federal Democratic Republic '' the name Royal Everest coffee was replaced by simply “ Everest Coffee Mill Pvt. Ltd ''. Apart from it, Everest coffee group has a joint venture with Taiwan called “ Everest Laoda Coffee '' and another being “ Everest Boutique Coffee. The Everest Boutique coffee focuses on serving premium beans and comes from a single origin making it quite popular among coffee enthusiasts.
Our Vision
The main vision for our company is to be able to provide the best quality of highland and natural coffee for coffee lovers. We do not use agrochemicals in our coffee farms as we believe in serving natural products to our people and we encourage LOHAS (Lifestyle of Health and Sustainability).
Being amongst the pioneers of coffee production, we always strive for sustainable ways to grow. We believe in growing together. We maintain social relationships with individual growers. We provide coffee production technologies and training to the farmers with technical and material support. Everest coffee has its own kitchen farms in various parts of Nepal like - Kavre district, Kaski District and Rasuwa district. Besides our own farms, we also collect coffee from various parts of Nepal from farmers whom we give coffee plants to plant and we also train them to grow A grade coffee. And after that, we buy it back from the farmers. Everest coffee group also supports women in vocational training and children in their education of Kavre district. We believe in our social responsibility along with our company’s growth. In addition to this, we especially focus on rural area women to hand pick the coffee cherries and processing of our coffee which creates skill, job opportunities, knowledge and this cycle aids in their financial support and motivation to grow better quality coffee. All of these, in turn, contribute to the sustainability cycle and economy of the local areas hence, in the larger picture Nepal’s economy itself. The approach of sustainability is what we believe in and envision for our business. And our goal is to promote Nepali best quality coffee on a global platform as being boutique style coffee that serves A grade quality. Our goal is to compete in the global scenario in terms of quality rather than quantity.
Exporting all over the World
Similarly, we use the special Arabica coffee beans harvested around 1650-1700 metres in Nepal. The high altitude reflects in good taste, quality and aroma but brings a limit in the production of coffee. What gets produced will be of a high standard though. That’s why our plan is to export in micro lots to places like Japan, Taiwan, El Salvador, Bangkok, Korea, Texas and San Fransisco.
